BIHL Group Continues to Strengthen the Botswana Family Narrative Through Wellness and Family Fun Day 2016

GABORONE - Family, health and wellness are all attributes of life which BIHL Group greatly values in supporting amongst its staff, its stakeholders and within the communities which it operates. In testament of this, the Group hosted the annual BIHL Group Wellness and Family Fun Day on Saturday 19 November 2016. The fun day was hosted for families and friends within the BIHL Group at the Bank of Botswana (BoB) Grounds.

The day featured a jam-packed fitness programme for adults inclusive of aerobics, Zumba, 5-a-side and team challenges to a name few activities, all geared to get the blood pumping and energies flowing. Also on site for the kids were an array of games, face-painting and jumping castles galore. The Group also engaged smaller merchant businesses to cater for the public in attendance with refreshments and pop-up stall displays. As with every community engagement, BIHL makes it a point to cultivate opportunities for community businesses in the vicinity of where events are held, in efforts to contribute towards sustainable development.

The goal for BIHL in hosting this summer fitness event serves as a heartfelt contribution towards the Botswana recreational scene. The event provides a form of family-friendly entertainment to be enjoyed, while in turn supporting community engagements that encourage active participation in sports and other healthy activities.
