The BIHL Trust Donates Football Kits to Marina Hospital

The BIHL Trust joined staff at Marina Hospital today for a heartwarming moment of unity and support. As a small but heartfelt gesture, the Trust heeded the call to support Marina Hospital’s request for football kits for staff.

 

The handover was attended by BIHL Group football representatives, alongside representatives from Marina Hospital, dedicated colleagues, and honoured guests. Trustee Samson Setumo delivered remarks on behalf of the Trust, emphasising the profound impact achievable when individuals unite for a common cause, no matter how big or small.

 

Mr. Setumo expressed the core values of The BIHL Trust, reiterating its commitment to community wellbeing and social progress. He emphasised the Trust’s mission to ensure that success is shared with the communities it serves, actively giving back and supporting causes close to their hearts. “This donation to Marina Hospital serves as a testament of our commitment to social upliftment and public health, recognising the importance of physical activity in preventing social ills and promoting wellbeing. These football kits go beyond mere sports attire. They symbolise the interconnectedness of sports and healthcare, both dedicated to enhancing lives through hope, teamwork, and recovery.

The donation was handed to Dr. Goepamang the Hospital Manager, who thanked the Trust for heeding their call. The donated kits comprised 50 football kit replicas and one complete kit, and the event concluded with a message of unity, compassion, and shared belief in contributing to the betterment of the community.
